Walnut is the predominant wood with a stylish walnut handle. This smaller box is accented with alder splines in the corners and inner lining of alder as well. A clean fit with lid that lifts easily from base.
The boxes from Daily Zen Woodcraft are hand-finished with a simple blend of beeswax, Brazilian carnauba wax, mineral oil, and orange oil to enhance the natural beauty and depth of grain in all the wood.
This allows the rich color of the walnut and alder to come through beautifully. We include a sample size of the Feed and Wax we use on each piece to help maintain the luster for years to come.
